So dZone have made some changes to the moderation queue to help us. You should all now notice that there is a new button which converts answers into comments. This means if someone posts "bump, no-one has replied" as an answer we can now convert it into a comment in the mod queue. Super cool. Note that this action just changes the data-type. The now-comment will still need to be approved. So, you lovely people no longer need to approve a stupid answer, and the change it into a comment. Also, please just close questions that don't make the grade. We trust each and everyone of you to make the right decision. Don't spend ages trying to decide. Either it's an obvious approve, or it's a rejection. I know in a perfect world we'd contact the questioner and explain why their question will not appear. (You can of course find them on the Forum and PM them to explain the rules about Answers. I personally never do this - I simply don't have time.) So, on answers I just hit accept or reject. If a post isn't formatted correctly, I sometimes immediately go an edit the post. Sometimes I'll leave a comment asking the questioner to smarten up the question. My approach changes with my coffee intake, and, probably, how the question makes me feel. ;-) This is your site, not mine, so if you have violent reaction to these words, please just follow-up.
